Creative Kids Co-op is a co-operative homeschool group meeting at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Formed more than twenty years ago, our co-op supports the education of its children by providing instruction in art, music, physical education, practical skills and academically enriching classes by utilizing the many talents brought by our teaching mothers and fathers. Our families focus on academics at home and come together weekly to enhance their school experience through group learning activities. Optional field trips are planned throughout the year. We produce a musical and participate in JMU’s GEM fair on alternate years. CKC facilitates the organization of IEW writing and Apologia Science courses for our members. Currently, we offer classes for children 3 years to eighth grade.
Consider joining our waiting list for next year by sending an email via our “contact” page.
Need another co-op option? Start your own! No kidding. CKC was started by just two homeschooling mothers seeking to meet the needs of their own children.
